- chmaynard 5y agoSome background: What most of us know as "pull requests" are a feature of hosting services such as GitHub and GitLab. The git request-pull command serves a similar purpose. It produces a patch that can be used for pulling changes into a repository. This patch needs to be communicated to the repo owner, using a mailing list or discussion forum.
