Oh come on now.
Chinese have far bigger and far more strict word list bans.
In US, you need to say “people who menstruate” and “land owning person”; in China you will just just disappear if you say a wrong thing against the regime.
- vimy 5y agoIt’s about a lot more than just forbidden words. The ‘social justice’ fanatics are a black hole for productivity.
- shp0ngle 5y agomaybe but the argument “I wish I was in China and I didn’t have to be careful what I say in public!” is so laughable if you have actually been in China or interacted with mainland Chinese
- vimy 5y agoThat wasn’t my argument at all. They just aren’t distracted like the West is. They are laser focused on becoming the best in everything.
- unmole 5y agoWhat are you basing this on? Have you had any substantial interaction with Chinese engineers? I'm asking because I worked for a well known Chinese behemoth for nearly 6 years and my experience doesn't match your assertion.
