I paid for a pair of bluetooth headphones out of pocket because I didn't want them to be tied to the job. I got "I'll tell you if it's too much" as a budget for peripherals. Bought 2 24" 1440p Dell monitors, a 2-monitor stand, decent keyboard, wireless mouse. Going remote, I brought everything but the office furniture with me, but use my personal 27" monitor in place of the 2nd 24" one, so between my hardware and the company's, I've got 3 screens.
