My company is hybrid, but coming to the office is entirely optional. Enough people naturally started coming back once in a while. The way they convinced us that it won’t change on a C-Level’s whim is by drastically reducing the office size so it’s not even possible for anyone to come back full time. But you can work at a co-working space if need be. The company saved a lot of money by not having an office and I’ve never seen such a productive team in my entire career.
