- xeromal 4y agoWhat was that service that only worked on phones with in-house made 10 minute TV shows? That one was incredibly expensive. Edit: Quibi
- filoleg 4y agoWas it Quibi?[0] 0. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quibi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quibi
- dmosley 4y agoQuibi was launched April 6th, 2020 and dissolved December 1, 2020. It lasted nearly 8 months.
- xeromal 4y agoYou're right but now I want to calculate losses per day. haha Quibli burned through 1.75 billion USD. I wonder how much CNN+ lost.
- celestialcheese 4y agoThe article mentions $300m USD to develop CNN+
- rvz 4y ago> I want to calculate losses per day. CNN+ lost $9.3M a day vs Quibi with $5.8M a day. [0] [0] https://twitter.com/trungtphan/status/1517177312424316929 https://twitter.com/trungtphan/status/1517177312424316929
- xeromal 4y agoThat's an incredible amount of money to burn. Thanks for looking that up!
- wincy 4y agoSo I wonder if they’re laying off a bunch of people who were running CNN+? Where does that money go? Salaries? Marketing?
- bagels 4y agoDevelopment time accounts for more than the time between launch and shutdown.
