Management cares about one metric only and this is free cash flow. All boils down to this.
The mission and vision is the pain they try to ease for their paying customers.
Sales has to find customers with the fitting pains and explain to them that your widget eases the pain.
The other divisions should work on solving the problems that lead to the pain of the customers. And all has to serve one outcome: increase free cash flow!

- number6 5y agoWhich mindset do you want to combat? And on broader terms: in accounting, we'll, you don't culture is set by the management. You might influence the management but that's their battle
