US has not sent over any tanks to Ukraine. It is, however, sending tanks to Poland to replace their tanks sent to Ukraine, and has sent artillery to Ukraine.

US has not sent over any tanks to Ukraine. It is, however, sending tanks to Poland to replace their tanks sent to Ukraine, and has sent artillery to Ukraine.
- sschueller 4y agoYes, exactly, this is very different than directly sending such weapons to Ukraine. It also has to be seen from the Polish view, free upgrade to US tanks. They also tried it with their aircraft hoping for US fighter jets in return.
- mannerheim 4y agoEither way, heavy armaments have been sent to Ukraine, some of them directly from the US.
