Crypto has solved one problem and that is removing consumer protections - which was really not a problem that needed to be solved. Accept crypto directly - chargebacks are a thing of the past. Once that payment is made, it can't be taken back. This changes dynamics a bit - a company can do less checks for fraud (say an isp/cloud provider can accept more abusive things with out penalty) with out the fear of getting a chargeback fee, loosing that money or getting a merchant/payment processor closed for too many chargebacks or even fraud. Sure the market might be able to solve that with bad reviews but this simply shifts the burden to the holder of crypto.
