I highly disagree with this. I think it's because of the asymmetry between how hard it is to create something and how easy it is to destroy something. For example, it takes a team of skilled people months to construct a house and 1 idiot with a can of gas and a lighter to burn it down overnight. This actually happens a lot - like in california a gender reveal party burned down thousands of acres of wildlife, destroyed homes, created pollution, and endangered lots of people.
