Personally, I wasn't even aware this tech was possible. It sounds like an awesome way to electrify over-water travel without the drag / instability of pushing through the ocean. I also harbor such hopes. Seaplanes are wonderfully versatile in where they can go, and these vehicles could also "sail" (in the air) where the water is too shallow for a regular vessel as long as the takeoff / landing areas are clear.
