Does it make sense from an financial standpoint for a game company to run a multiplayer game server on the blockchain? Seems to me that if it did make sense financially then game companies would all be doing it already.
- redisman 5y agoWell no. It’s so outlandish that anyone who has built game servers would laugh you out of the room. They require ideally sub 30ms response times. Saving the whole history of the world on a blockchain is also useless and wasteful.
