Very cool. This type of thinking and combining next-gen tools in the genome editing space will be time well spent. Hopefully there is a future state where pesticides can ultimately be reduced because of this tech. Obviously engineering pests of agriculture/horticulture crops would be a high-value target, so curious if this research helps jumpstart those ideas and startups.
