From someone who's never had it, I imagine the taste is similar to some heavy stout beers, with more salt. Would that be accurate?
- fbanon 5y agoIt only has a hint of beer taste to it. I would say it's more like a thicker soy sauce with hints of natto (fermented soybeans).
- ripe 5y agoI once described it as "like blue cheese, minus the cheese." An American who first tasted vegemite at age 40---and loved it! If you've never tasted it, you owe it to yourself to try it once.
