I work in enviroment where I rutinely have to connect to computers and access them over SMB1. On Windows 10 theres this new issue where its asking for username/password even for shares that have no password set, so theres no combination of username/password to grant me access. The only way to get around it (after many hours of googling) was to create new local user (on my win 10 client machine), and accessing the share works perfectly from there (as it did in windows 7). Still havent figured why or how this works, but yes: I am stuck with two account on my PC, one specifically just for accessing open SMB1 shares.
