- elefantastisch 4y agoThat's not GitHub's decision. It's the way the law works. They have a thorough explanation with links to viewpoints challenging DMCA on the submitted page.
- djrogers 4y agoThey can legally reinstate the pages with a simple counter-claim / attestation though, but they don’t seem to have implemented that feature of the DMCA yet.

- GordonS 4y agoWhich is hardly fair if the takedown notice doesn't even have information you'd need to respond - like what exactly is meant to be the infringing content. Also, the claimant allowing one business day (whatever that even means, given the scummy company is in Pakistan and the scummy hiring company is in the US, and the alleged infringees are all over the place!) is quite obviously ridiculous.
