Sounds like you're not only asking why it is exciting, but you're also making a useless, mean, possibly offensive comment about art studies.
Why did you need to say "poor art students" and "will never have careers"? Certainly, the HN crowd don't like snarky/mean comments like that, it's why it's in the community rules.
- smaudet 4y agoThe other comment didn't actually have anything besides, to my best recall "Why do you find it exciting?" And you're right, maybe I'm not considering my audience enough. My emotion is certainly negative, but it's one of fear and dismay. I think art is great and I know a lot of people have struggled making a career for themselves as artists, my point it was already really hard to succeed as an artist, this makes it harder not easier.
