It would seem to me that the Democrats do see that it's headed toward disaster in November. Disaster for them anyway. >Across this country, voters agreed with us — and gave us a majority in Washington so that we could deliver on those promises. Yes they did. Democrats have had 2 years to do what they wish. >Republican senators and broken institutions have blocked much of that promised progress. Wait no, literally the last sentence was that you got a majority to deliver on promises. Republicans havent done anything, you can blame only yourselves here by your own admission. >Republicans want to frame the upcoming elections to be about “wokeness,” cancel culture and the “militant left wing.” S No doubt. Even Obama agrees with the republicans here. >we should use every single one of the next 200 days or so before the election to deliver meaningful improvements for working people. YES! lets see this happen! It wont happen... but lets hope it does. >Democrats win elections when we show we understand the painful economic realities facing American families and convince voters we will deliver meaningful change. Painful economic realities that you caused. >Democrats are headed toward big losses in the midterms. That's true. Something must be done in those last 200 days. >We can also act quickly to rein in costs for middle-class families. In the very short term, that means stopping companies from jacking up prices to boost their profits. I wouldn't recommend doing that, but then again they already started with diabetes meds pushing producers out of the US market. >With the stroke of a pen, the president could make massive strides to close gender and racial wealth gaps. Lots of people are framing this in a 'we hate trump, that's why you won. Stop with your far left agenda' In essence these democrats are also pushing the anti-woke narrative. Meanwhile AOC said their problem is that they are not progressive enough. Perhaps AOC is right? Perhaps the democrats need to embrace the far-left far more in the next 200 days. Elizabeth Warren is a native american. Perhaps they can do something progressive to help the natives?
