What's happening in Mariupol is scary, but it is far less scary than what practically everyone thought Russia was capable of. They've failed to take a city 30 miles from their border. That's insane. People were expecting what is happening in Mariupol to be happening to Kiev or Lviv. It's like if in WW2 Germany had invaded Belgium but got stuck at the first city it came across. It's just an incredibly small accomplishment for what is meant to be a strong military power.
