Is there a less technical term for anisotropic? Polarized?
- icapybara 5y agoAnisotropic means “depends on direction”. This tape has conductivity that is different in one direction than the other two directions. This is unique because many materials have a conductivity that is the same regardless of the direction of current flow. Polarized is not the right word.
- Sporktacular 5y agoDirectional, though anisotropic is a better description.
