A bold guess is that, when people meet in Mastodon, they will become Twitter friends or FB friends eventually.
- rsolva 4y agoMost people come to Mastodon seeking out viable alternatives to FB and Twitter, and many of them proudly announce to their Mastodon followers when they have deleted their FAANG accounts. This might change when Mastodon attracts more non-techy folk, but even they seem to become more weary of centralized and algorithmicly directed social media.
