I am not a fan of Atlassian for several reasons, but they are a smart bunch, and I am pretty sure they will learn from this. There will be some well scared engineers who have learned some good lessons. It’s good to have people around who “have seen things”. Mistakes happen, but not learning from a mistake would be the tragedy. (If you use Jira you are already used to pain and frustration - you’ll be fine.)
