- tannhaeuser 5y agoESA's contribution, and that of Canada's agency I believe, is only very minor compared to the overall budget. Makes sense, and I guess it wasn't supposed to be this small, considering the budget was overrun ten-fold or so, and ESA having to explain desires for public money when it wasn't even "their" project. Anyway, JWST has been such an incredible success so far, I can't wait for the first science results.
