Proof that 22/7 exceeds π
- gus_massa 4y agoThe integral of 1/(1+x^2) is tan^{-1} so it's not surprising to see π somewhere in the result, but I really want to know why/how they choose this integral. Does it has some graphical explanation of why this should be greater but similar to π? Is that related to the polygon with 96 sides?
