Do you really want to be forced to declare to the whole world the details of your financial life, every year? Not just what you earn but deductions such as what you gave to charity? I don't think most Americans would support this.
- airhangerf15 5y agoExactly! Just look at what happened to Brendan Eich after someone discovered his political contributions. But don't kid yourself. With digital currencies, this is coming. Remember what happened to the truckers of Canada? The government backed off of freezing bank accounts, but they showed that they could cut off anyone with "unacceptable views" It's coming. Be ready.

- arrakis2021 5y agoNobody actually wants this. They only promote it to virtue signal. when faced with the prospect of actually exposing their financial life to the word most people respond with a deep aversion.
