The wealth transfer has been to the passengers though, as this article points out repeatedly Uber isn't earning money.
- nerdponx 5y agoI was thinking of their employees and technology vendors, as well as any open source projects they contribute to. The point is that there must be some awfully huge payoff to make burning billions of dollars as an upfront investment worth it.
