I'm guessing they're just pulling property records and calling/texting whoever is listed as the owner, which is a public record. It's always for the property in TN, not the one I actually live in in a different state, so I'm assuming they're targeting certain cities. I'm assuming it's a company like Blackrock, trying to scoop up more residential houses. Most messages are identical and seem automated, even with a "text STOP to stop receiving messages." I get cash offers for as-is condition, sight unseen, or at least that's what they say. Wouldn't know, I never respond. Florida is a hot real estate market as well. Buy up the houses and all you're left with is sky high rentals.
