I have been following this on al jazeera, I'm by no means an expert on pakistan politics so it has been educational. I feel like this is more important than Ukraine. Ukraine is muddied and not really showing the real story. Obviously khan meeting with Putin the day of the invasion is a key issue. Khan was improving relations with Russia. Khan and Pakistan intelligence knew about the invasion. Who didn't? Biden was all over the news saying it was coming. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Russia aren't traditionally friendly.
Obviously this angered Khan's allies and they publicly abandoned him. He was about to be thrown out by non-confidence and Khan instead shutdown the government to avoid this reality? Obviously the court ruled against him. Let the non-confidence to happen and out he went. Khan probably has some ego or narcissism issues? I'm not sure. He screwed up trying to improve relations with Putin. He has to live with this mistake.
Now they allege the USA owns and control all those politicians, the ISI, and the judges? Not likely? How awful do they think their own counter intelligence people are? The USA probably has very little influence in Pakistan. When Obama sent navy seals into pakistan to kill osama bin laden... pakistan legitimately wasn't happy about that.
Khan learnt a lesson that the Ukrainians already knew. Never trust Putin. Ukraine had multiple treaties and agreements from Russia saying they cant invade. Putin did anyway.
