- PaulDavisThe1st 5y agoYou know that Charlie Stross, author of TFA, is a sci-fi author?
- beebeepka 5y agoYour original reply was nicer. Why did you change it? Guy may be a good author, I wouldn't know. Hating on all Star Trek, all Battlestar Galactica, even Babylon 5. Yeah, by the looks of it, we have much in common.
- PaulDavisThe1st 5y agoI didn't change anything about this reply.
- teraflop 5y agoIf you think disliking Trek, BSG and B5 automatically translates to "hating sci-fi in general", you might want to consider the possibility that you have a slightly narrow view of the genre.
- beebeepka 5y agoI only mentioned them because he did. Did he say what he likes? Any names in particular? My favourite sci-fi involves aliens, robots, or alien robots. That said, I also enjoy stuff like The Man From Earth.
