Commodore 64 – We Are Stardust
- tomcam 5y agoBlown away by the amazing use of Commodore 64 resources. It was sort of thought at the time that titles such as Pinball Construction Set had pushed that machine to its limits so this is almost an alternate universe to me.

- tomcam 5y agoI hate you. Now I want to buy one of those SID chip synths!
- neuro 5y agoThen you can't forget the crack screens that come with them

- neuro 5y agoBrought back great memories, thanks.
- snvzz 5y agoShould have linked the website[0] rather than some video which the website also links. [0]. https://megastyle.itch.io/we-are-stardust https://megastyle.itch.io/we-are-stardust
- shon 5y ago100% correct. This isn’t just a C64 demo. This is a game that was an Easter egg included as an audio track on the vinyl album We Are Stardust by Lukehash. I didn’t know any of this before you linked the site so thanks! Now I’ve got a copy of the sold out Vinyl coming in from eBay.
- dang 5y agoOk, we've changed to that from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llXa9iBMlkE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llXa9iBMlkE above. Thanks!
- nsxwolf 5y agoThat is just an awesome piece of art. I would love a print of that.
- throw7 5y agoIf you haven't seen The Last Ninja it had a fantastic soundtrack and was great game also. Hearing this track is like pure nostalgia.
- OnlyMortal 5y agoRob Hubbard ftw
- blt 5y agoSecond tune is really cool. I feel like the low pass filter is underused in older SID tunes. (Jeroen Tel's Kinetix has a really good LPF bass.) Did it have something to do with the difference between the two SID versions? Or maybe making sure the music stays intact through tinny speakers?
- vintermann 5y agoI remember this one from last year. LukHash has managed to bring some well-deserved attention to the C64 and the SID outside the scene.
- biggieshellz 5y agoCool game, and great music! Runs fine on my old breadbin converted to PAL. A lot of good stuff happening in C64-land lately. Polar Bear in Space (http://www.psytronik.net/newsite/index.php/c64/137-polarbear http://www.psytronik.net/newsite/index.php/c64/137-polarbear) was finally released, and Strikeback (https://sarahjaneavory.itch.io/strikeback-c64 https://sarahjaneavory.itch.io/strikeback-c64) came out just this week.
