  >In 2014 or in 2022? Good question, 2014 was indeed an invasion and certainly the opening. However was this WW3? I feel like the world reacted but given crimea is indeed highly russian due to the Russian base. There is a right to self-determination and they would say to join Russia or become independent. Was it WW3 for 8 years? No I dont think so. But in 2022 when they properly invaded ukraine. does it retroactively add the 8 years? Probably still no.
