Wait what? There's no land value tax in USA ? We have it here in Denmark, and I believe it's very wrong. It effectively means that you cannot own land here. You can only buy the privilege to rent it from the state, it is never yours, and if your source of income goes away, and you cannot pay the rent, the land is taken away from you.
