Render doesn’t require you to use a YAML file though. I’ve deployed a couple of things there and never used the YAML files, just the UI.

- noodle 4y agoThey're definitely required for at least some scenarios, as a raw deploy didn't work for me, they're called out in the help docs, and I had a chat w/ their CEO on the topic a few weeks ago.
