- nathanaldensr 5y agoClickbait title. Better: "Include context with your Zoom meeting requests"
- jlund-molfese 5y agoWhich part of the original title ("Naked Zoom Links Considered Harmful") is clickbait? I've modified it slightly to eliminate the word "Naked" in case someone prefers the term "bare URL" to "naked URL". It's pretty common[1] to use "considered harmful" tongue-in-cheek within a title, and it tells the reader what to expect—an opinion-based essay or post related to software engineering. - nathanaldensr 5y agoI interpreted "naked Zoom links" to mean the article was about Zoom URLs in some way. I assumed I would read something about some security vulnerability regarding Zoom URLs. From what I can tell, you weren't writing about the actual links, though. "Considered harmful" is blatantly overused regardless of the strength of an argument. Additionally, your article does not cite any kind of social or study-based agreement with your assertion.
