- thoughtstheseus 5y agoThe author fails to see Elon is advocating for putting moderation in the hands of users not the company. In cases of clear, imminent calls to violence Elon wants that speech to be recorded and identifiable if only to allow for public authorities to take action. Not Twitter. Algorithms do not need to be complicated btw. Simple understandable algorithms are very possible. Content curation services by parties you trust will develop. Whitelisting, blacklisting, enhanced search, etc.
- ddingus 5y agoThis! The author is really saying Elon is not on board with the existing moderation order. Is implying said order is the way, and anyone who really understands would recognize that to be true.
