The US or UK governments would take drastic military action before allowing a hostile nuclear power to deploy military assets on its borders.
This is relevant to Ukraine because obviously it was allowing America to expand its military reach right up to Russia’s doorstep.
- agapon 5y agoDid that happen with Venezuela? E.g., after https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-46522358 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-46522358 Did that happen with Cuba? (I know about the Bay of Pigs invasion, when it happened and what kind of force was used for it)
- Tycho 5y agoVenezuela is 3000km away from America. And still they’ve been plotting to overthrow the current government. Cuba is an island, and still the US was ready to start WW3 rather than let Russia put missiles there.
