Redis creator calls for HN replacement
- antirez 15y agoplease do not upvote this, I don't want to get a free AD about my idea in the site I want to replace. Also I love this community, I think the problem is the fact that there is a conflict of interest here that I don't like, and in general is a privately owned stuff. Will try to follow up via twitter as here is not the right place IMHO.
- ShawnJG 15y agoI'm not a YC funded company, but I don't think one has to die for there to be another option. And YC's existence should not stop anyone from offering alternatives. YC created something that works for them..and others from the looks of it and should continue to carry on in their own way.
