So now we're going back to the central point. Before it sounded like you wanted me to "stop producing". Now from this reply, it sounds like you don't actually care if I stop producing, you're just objecting to me getting paid and demanding payment.
- rglullis 5y agoI'd be objecting anyone that gets paid to produce cultural pollution. Are you getting paid to produce cultural pollution?
- throwaway82652 5y agoPlease discontinue this style of rhetoric, it's not what this site is for.
- rglullis 5y agoThe "people will starve without copyright" rhetoric is also quite off-putting.
- throwaway82652 5y agoThat's not a rhetoric and it's also not even close to what I said or what I actually think. Please don't make things up, it's doing a disservice to yourself.
- rglullis 5y agoWhat you are implying is that people only create something if they can "demand payment" for it, no?
- dtjb 5y agoNearly all of classical music was sponsored by and produced for wealthy patrons. Is that cultural pollution too?
- JetSpiegel 5y agoThe body of work that reached the present day is the refined version of that. All the duds were forgotten. I'm sure back in the day, Salzburg people were also rolling their eye about yet another Requiem.
