- nowherebeen 5y agoIf I am spending 50% of my waking hours with them, how exactly am I ignoring them? You can still make friends at work without having to hang out after work. I shouldn't be obliged to spent 75% of my waking hours with them. And how do you know they don't want the same thing? I know tons of people that would rather spent time with their loved ones than their coworkers. You might want to rethink your definition of ignore, because it sounds very much like unhealthy peer pressure.
