Ukrainians want the same economic success as Poland and they think that membership in EU was instrumental. If Ukraine succeeds then people of Belarus and Russia will want it too. But Putin does not want to give up power, so he attacks Ukraine. There - that's the reason. Fear of successful Ukraine.
