- derbOac 4y ago"Why is it lost?" Because it requires resources and opportunity. If you don't have the money, or the training, or if others are preventing you from doing it for whatever reason, you won't be able to. Not everyone can buy land to build a structure, or to garden, and regulation tends to keep people from doing things in general. When people aren't allowed to, or can't afford to, they stop trying and then forget they could. The reason it is lost is because people prevent others from doing it, in general, intentionally or unintentionally. This is the problem with inequality.
