Are you an early adopter of tools?
Hi All,
My question is posed towards early adoptors of tools. Assuming you are active on hacker news and Product Hunt. How comfortable are you in giving away your email credentials while trying a new tool? Do you feel internal resistance in doing so? Please let me know.

- mikewarot 5y agoI don't really like being forced to give away my email just to try something blindly. Many times it stops me in my tracks, and I just give up on whatever the new thing is. When I do give my email address out, it's my gmail address. I only check it a few times per month, sometimes more often if I'm in a project with someone. I've got 8,002 unread items littering it, so any marketing, etc... is just going to get ignored. Like 99% of all email (after the spam filter!), it's not really important to me.
