I don't understand why the industry hasn't switched over completely to hidpi screens. Once you use one you can never go back. I feel so bad for people still using 1920x1080 screens. Truly the price of freedom is having to squint and lose your eyesight, hoping that font tricks can save you, when you could just be using a display with a modern amount of pixels on it.
- elxr 4y agoAgreed, my next laptop will have to be 1600p at least.
- xanaxagoras 4y agoI'm torn. A modern amount or pixels comes with a modern amount of glare. That's bad for your eyes in a different way.
- slaw 4y agoI switched from 4k to 1920x1080 and it is enough for me, 400 nits is too dim to use outdoors.
