>@InfraHaz twitch.tv/infraredshow hmm that sounds familiar, oh yes : Amazon-Owned Twitch Spreading Russian Misinformation on Ukraine https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31030515 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31030515 "One InfraredShow video streamed on Feb. 24—the day Russia began its invasion—was titled “RUSSIAN SPECIAL OPERATION AGAINST UKRAINIAN AGGRESSION,” echoing the language the Kremlin has used to describe the war. On the video, the host claimed that Putin had to go into Ukraine to stop genocide in the eastern part of the country: “Ukraine is sending these thugs, these genocidal neo-Nazi scum to the region to harass, terrorize, and attack the people living there.” That rhetoric mimics Putin’s false claims that Ukraine has been killing ethnic Russians and that its government is dominated by Nazi elements." "The video, which also featured a “VLADIMIR PUTIN IS GOOD” watermark across the screen, had more than 24,700 views as of March 31." "At least two dozen other videos from InfraredShow repeated Russian government talking points, with several prominently displaying the letter “Z,”" and so on. Its either paid or ramblings of a deranged mind. Remind me of another guy, Frank James (recently in the news), had similar content here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtl9pjnppooRbj_YssCKxsA/videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtl9pjnppooRbj_YssCKxsA/vid...

I read five tweets that the person in question posted… He’s a nutcase. Twitch partnership is not employment, there’s tons of exit clauses for Twitch, and it makes sense to start cutting this fella lose. He’s a time bomb. If you’re an accountant who does their job well, quietly, without issue, that’s fine. Even though it’s outside of work, if you were caught attending a columbine reenactment, or a flat earth brawl, etc, why should your employer keep you around? How long before you lose your marbles on the clock and destroy a business relationship or god forbid hurt someone? I don’t think he’s well, and maybe he should think about doing some reflect during this time instead of broadcasting himself to the internet. Some quiet time to think might be good for him and and his peers.
