- yetihehe 4y agoPiezoelectric crystals. Change in pressure causes electricity flow. They are used in piezoelectric lighters and in some microphones. Buzzers from birthday cards can work both ways, as a microphone (pressure->electricity) and as a speaker (electricity->pressure).
