I got a little frustrated having to try several variations of the same root word. Spoilers below. E.g. I tried Europe at 17, but I did not try European until 75. Likewise I tried language at 37, but it took until 85 to get languages.

Can't help with Europe vs European, but there's an option in the setting to automatically guess plural versions of words.
