- Epa095 4y agoWonder how it compares to streamlit, seems quite similar.
- abidlabs 4y agoStreamlit and Gradio are both great tools to build web apps, but with different focuses: * Gradio is designed to build demos for machine learning models very easily, and as such is more opinionated but faster to use. * Streamlit takes longer to learn and use, but is more flexible and lets you build entire dashboards There are other differences as well. For example, Gradio uses the default Python interpreter, whereas Streamlit uses its own. This means you can run Gradio apps in jupyter notebooks, etc. whereas I don't think you can do that with Streamlit
- pplonski86 4y agoThe next alternative is Mercury (https://github.com/mljar/mercury https://github.com/mljar/mercury) framework. It turns Jupyter notebooks into interactive web apps. You just add YAML config in the first cell and the interactive widgets (textbox, sliders) will be added to the notebook. You can share the notebook with others. Your users can tweak widgets and execute the notebook (and download result as single HTML file). What is more, you can hide notebook's code if you want. The framework is open source, but has also commercial additional features like authentication. It's website https://mljar.com/mercury/ https://mljar.com/mercury/.
- mlukaszek 4y agoSlightly off topic, but in the live demo it looks like model model wasn't really trained with images of a shovel that is diagonal in the frame, with the tip in top right and the base bottom left. The model detects all kinds of things but not the shovel - a spoon, a rifle, baseball bat etc
