Redactle–Wordle for Wikipedia
- elikoga 4y agoWow this is fun!
- wikidani 4y agoI can't believe there isn't an infinity mode on those games, I can't wait for tomorrow's article tbh
- wikidani 4y agoI wonder if by using the statistically most used words one could automate at least a big part of the guessing process
- smrq 4y agoWell, that's going in my Wordles bookmark folder. I'm curious whether this one will have staying power. The Wordles I've given up on have generally been either too easy after developing a decent strategy (e.g. Nerdle), or questionable in some fashion (e.g. Crosswordle often includes at least one word that you won't find in a normal dictionary). "Questionable" for Redactle might look like overly technical articles where no amount of un-redacting will get you to the answer. "Easy" would be the opposite. I think it comes down to curation; the best Wordles have puzzles selected much like the word list of the original Wordle.
- joshcryer 4y agoI never got in to Wordle because it was too easy. I've been playing Semantle but it's been kicking my butt with some of the answers I've had to give. This was fun, if a bit easy. At least it didn't leave me banging my head trying to find a word like Semantle does (can always just search sentence structure and figure out a word).
- Inityx 4y agoI'm frustrated that the site does not render block quotes... An important feature when trying to guess adjacent words, given that the authorial voice is subject to change between paragraphs

- cubefox 4y agoThis was surprisingly difficult!
- stevesearer 4y agoIf this was for news articles, my comprehension would be off the charts.
- Bellend 4y agoThis is really good well done! I am absolutely terrible at it :)!
- CameronNemo 4y agoI got a little frustrated having to try several variations of the same root word. Spoilers below. E.g. I tried Europe at 17, but I did not try European until 75. Likewise I tried language at 37, but it took until 85 to get languages.
- titaniumtown 4y agoDoesn't even work on firefox nightly :(
- marstall 4y agoThis was a BLAST. I did it with my son. Definitely the best and most original inspired-by-wordle game I've come across. In many way deeper than wordle because it it requires parsing language, facts, etc. Well done! We'll be back tomorrow. (brag: got it in 39 guesses)
- cozos 4y ago> A new puzzle will be available every day at 11:00 AM CDT (16:00 UTC). I was really looking forward to doing another one at EOD :)
