- charcircuit 5y agoA nonprofit doesn't need to liquidate and spend all of its assets by the end of the year. Since bitcoin was only a small percentage of donations it's likely they wouldn't have needed to liquidate any. They may have wanted to liquidate some of it to realize some gains as cryptocurrencies' value can be volatile.
