Until a fire happens. Don't think a metal file cabinet will keep your documents safe from fire AND water damage.
- rmahan 4y agoA fire safe is not a fireproof safe either. Usually they are rated for up to X degrees (my personal one is 1400F) and the papers inside will start to combust around that temp.
- D-Coder 4y agoRight, but hopefully you have time to re-do everything after the fire and water. Until that happens, the cabinet is doing its job.
