I found the suggestion that world revolves around the US and its problems much more hypocritical, though. If this person really thinks someone is making up videos and photos of war crimes to hide something happening in the US, they're well beyond crazy paranoid. And the suggestion that nobody should care about these war crimes just because there was/is another crime is super-weird false dichotomy, too. It's not like it's US doing the work there, it's the locals. And it's not like it's all one person who could be hypocritical - it's many people each following their own way.
